10dence platform – International Artist in Residency - Le Château d’Arvieu - 2025 Arvieu – France will take place from September 26 till October 11 2025
Either in France or in Japan, 10dence platform International Artist in Residencies yearly bring a select group of international artists together in ways that often extend well beyond the time and place of the event and is an ultimate opportunity to create and to observe creation in action as well as to gain insight into the process of making a work of art. Its unpretentious creative premises transforms into a shared studio location. Every year, 10dence selects an international group of 10 to 15 artists to gather at the Artist in Residency location to work and to create together for a timeframe of two weeks. The residency therefore is also a great opportunity to live and experience contemporary art there where the creative process and interaction takes place and goes hand in hand. The originality and success of the residency is based on the direct interaction between the artists and receiving immediate, professional and honest feedback on their work. The residency aims to manifest itself as an experimental and stimulating garden of Eden. Always researching new avenues and redefining itself as well as promoting dialogue on geopolitical concerns, overall questions of aesthetics and social and environmental issues have all served to inspire the participants of these residencies.
After finalizing the residency, the work created during the residency will be exhibited at Melkart Gallery 2, Rue Antoine Gautier 06300 Nice, Village Segurane, France on October 12 2026. 10dence platform and residencies enjoy the promotional support from Inspirational Magazine.
