Bernd Kalusche is a German contemporary artist
who explores an instinctive approach resulting in highly expressive abstract
expressionist work that exists at the intersection of subtle and the exuberant
and the ethereal and the concrete. His works reflect the energy that resonates
and illuminates his practice as an artist and as a creative being. His paintings
generally evolve through his ongoing intuitive action and reaction dialogue
within the creation process and he is always eager to find the balance between
control and spontaneity where intention and unpredictability converge. Furthermore
his painting process will evolve until it will gain a life of its own. The abstracted
motifs in his paintings, inspire him to explore ambiguously mixing forms and delicate
and deliberate details inside his paintings. He characterizes his work
as embodying an unconditional search for beauty.
