The 10dence platform was founded in 2007 by the Dutch artist Ron Weijers and has been created and initiated as an alternative international non-profit artist for artist platform for the contemporary arts. 10dence presents, creates, explores, nurtures, and promotes the art that happens when connections are made, and knowledge is shared - across the boundaries of the established art-world institutions and their markets. By means of concept, the 10dence platform is profiled as a multi-disciplinary nucleus for innovative creative endeavors, where the participants in collaboration with a wide range of creative participants can generate curated artistic productions which encompass an unprecedented panoply of works of art embracing painting, drawing, photography, video, literature, sculpture and music, and the collective surveys the cross-current of activities that constitute the artistic output. Focusing on bringing together innovative creative individuals from around the world, the 10dence platform aims on the diversity of the group, highlighting and respecting the individuality of the artists involved. Aim of the 10dence platform is to celebrate all the various attributes of this group through the development of concepts and curated exhibition projects on a variety of locations. All the artists associated with the platform share a common heritage in various and numerous global art cultures. Although these artists all share a common background, obviously they also all evolved their creative artwork into different and unique directions that pushed their boundaries of arts.
The core activities of the 10dence platform focus on the conceptual development, the organization, the realization, the graphic design support, the marketing & public relations and the promotion of exhibition projects for the affiliated artists. Over the years an impressive and more than respectable quantity of high-end exhibition concepts and projects for an international group of professional artists and affiliated art platforms have been added to its portfolio. The 10dence platform will specifically focus on the development of high-end curated concept related exhibitions and the organization of international art residencies.
