La Providence - International Art Residency - Ille sur Tet - France - 2023 - Where Creativity and Interaction go Hand in Hand.
La Providence art residency brings a select group of international artists together in ways that often extend well beyond the time and place of the event and is an ultimate opportunity to create and to observe creation in action as well as to gain insight into the process of making a work of art. Its unpretentious premises transforms into a vast shared studio. 10dence platform curates, selects and invites an international group of 12 artists to gather at La Providence art residency to create and to work together for a period of two weeks. The residency therefore also is a great opportunity to think and live contemporary art and where the creative process and interaction go hand in hand. The originality and success of the residency is based on the direct interaction between the artists and receive immediate, professional and honest feedback on their work. The residency aims to manifest itself as an experimental and stimulating garden of Eden. Always researching new avenues and redefining itself as well as promoting dialogue on geopolitical concerns, overall questions of aesthetics and social and environmental issues have all served to inspire the participants of the residency.
Work created during the residency will be exhibited and presented to a selected group of art-loving guests at La Providence in combination with a meet and greet diner with the artists.
